I am currently working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry. I have special interest in Adult ADHD and Substance Misuse. I did my psychiatric training as a part of Mersey Deanery rotation scheme. I have always been interested in research and have a number of publications in different international peer reviewed journals. I am honorary teacher in mental health and behavioural sciences with Liverpool University, UK. I am an advocate of Biopsychosocial model in mental health; I have completed few published reviews looking into how stress of caring can result in various psychological problems and how to manage these.
