Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Psychiatry and Geriatrics. Dr. Farinde earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University in 2007. She completed her post-graduate residency training at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Temple, Texas in conjunction with The Waco Veterans Hospital in Waco, Texas. She also completed a post-graduate residency at the Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. Her research interests has focused on the elderly population and the development of cognitive, neurological and psychiatric disorders. Dr. Farinde has worked as a clinical specialist for the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas providing clinical pharmacy services in their traumatic brain injury clinic. Dr. Farinde is a Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the American College of Apothecaries.
