I completed my medical graduation at Madras Medical College, India earning an MBBS degree. Then, I post-graduated with an MD degree in Medicine from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, India. I moved to the United States and completed residency training in Internal Medicine and became an American Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. I currently work as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS, USA. My research interests include cardiovascular disease epidemiology, treatment and outcomes. I have had multiple publications in peer reviewed journal.
