Prem Arora, MD, FAAP; Graduated from Medical school in India (Maulana Azad Medical College) in 2002. Residency training in India (Maulana Azad Medical College) and in United states (Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center). Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine(Wayne State University/Children's Hospital of Michigan). Elected as Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2011. Has published articles in peer reviewed journals in fields of pediatrics, neonatology and nutrition. Presentations at major national and international clinical conferences such as PEDICON (annual scientific meeting of Indian Academy of Pediatrics), PAS (Pediatric Academic Socieities meeting, American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference, Midwest Conference on Perinatal Research and North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Annual Meeting etc. Recipient of The Deepak Kamat, MD, PhD, Fellow of the Year 2011 Award by Children's Hospital of Michigan and The Resident Neonatology Research award 2010 by Dept. of Neonatal-perinatal Medicine. Currently 2rd year fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and very active in both basic science (endothelial progenitor cells) and clinical (transport medicine) research.
