Professor Raman Bedi, is the Director of the Global Child Dental Health Taskforce. Professor Bedi was the 8th Chief Dental Officer for England between 2002-2005. During this period he led the major reform of dental regulation and how dental services are provided. He also led the process by which water fluoridation can be more easily implemented in England. He was a Foundation Board member of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, and a trustee of the Children’s society and chairman of the Global Child Dental Fund
