I completed my medical education from India and completed a residency in Pediatrics from Saint Peters University Hsopital in New Jersey. I am curretnly pursuing a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. My interests include infections in children and particularly neonatal infections. My research interests include understanding the pathogenesis of hearing loss in infants with congenital cytomegalovirus infection. I have been involved in authoring chapters for online textbook (emedicine) and have been active in presenting my reserach at national meetings in the form of posters and oral presentations.
